Considering that Simon is Werewolf: he can also know there comes a slide when there is no Werewolves in Katharina, Simson and Nicolas, that's I've forgotten yesterday.
3-people coming out with no Werewolf, the breakdown is Seer(ess), Lunatic and Village-person; I think Village-person who pretends Seer(ess) are likely to slide.
So it's natural to form a hypothesis: his coming-out intended to a fixed-Medium, Simson slided to Medium because of the Medium or the Lunatic, and Nicolas slided to Villager because of the Villager or the Lunatic.
But if Nicolas is the Lunatic, I think he would slide to a Medium; he cannot know whether Simson is true-Medium nor whether Liesa comes out as a Medium.

Coming out as a Seer(ess) and slide to a Villager SEEMS him/her to be white; because sliding has a risk to be called in question and the Werewolves don't like to be suspected.
But I cannot throw out possibilities that he is a Werewolf and inculates that he is white.
So I must think him JUST a Gray.
